On James first visit to Australia he broke his neck in a car accident but this didnt put him off coming back 10 years later to pursue his dream of making great wine. James is known for being a bit eccentric (think Basil Fawlty), you never quite know whether you will be entertained by his stories, get to try a wine from his cellar, or be given a tour of the winery. But really it is not just a winery because James practically lives here, hence why we call it his wine cave!

Our philosophy is simple: Hand made by our hands. This means the person behind the counter has been involved in hand crafting the wine.

These days you will appreciate how rare that is in a market dominated by mass produced, soul less wines! We are true artisan producers growing the grapes, making the wine and bottling it ourselves. Our annual production is just 1500 cases so you wont find our wines in the big chains, but in independent wine merchants, good cafes & restaurants, and of course at our cellar door.
