Built in 1899, Partridge House is an early example of a large Federation style family home. Partridge House was built for Mrs Elinor Varley and has had a number of prominent occupants, including Mr Evan Kyffin Thomas, a descendent of Robert and Mary Thomas who were among the first European settlers to disembark at Glenelg.
