Adventure Kayaking SA is based in Adelaide, South Australia.
We offer fun, safe and adventurous kayak tours into sensational natural environments. Clients join us for encounters with dolphins and shipwrecks at the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary or exploring sea caves and interacting with seals at Rapid Bay or take a kayak or SUP lesson to learn from the experts.
Kayaking at the Dolphin Sanctuary and Ships Graveyard and seeing the Port River Dolphins has been voted one of the TOP FOUR MUST DO ACTIVITIES IN ADELAIDE. The Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary is a “wetland of national significance” and one of Adelaide’s “secret spots”, an area of incredible beauty and ecological importance. The mangrove forests and sheltered creeks are home to a fascinating array of marine life, birds and the Port River Dolphins. The Ship’s Graveyard with over 20 “wrecks” to explore is a unique feature of the area. All of these make for a sensational kayaking adventure.
You can take a guided tour with us or explore by yourself on a self guided option(hire). Tours are conducted in double sea kayaks which are very stable, comfortable and easy to paddle. Single kayaks are available. Tours depart from the Garden Island boat ramp. Tours and hire operate on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for most of the year.
We also hire kayaks and SUP boards, conduct kayaking lessons and provide fun social and team building sessions for business and social groups and great educational programs for school groups.
