Callington Railway Station

We encourage our visitors to wander around the shop and take the opportunity to taste all the products; in fact this is the only place in Australia where you have the chance to see and try just about every product we make.

Our large commercial kitchens are in Tanunda a few kilometres away where the majority of the range of Maggie Beer Products are made. Those that we havent the equipment in our kitchens to make are made under the very tight direction and eagle eye of Maggie. We are proudly South Australian and only find producers outside of the State when we cant find the right partners here.

But there is a bonus for our visitors in that on the farm we have a small seasonal kitchen where we make products to follow the seasons not large enough to distribute Australia wide so there is a never ending stream of new products especially for our Farm Shop visitors and our direct online on the web.

So many things to taste!
PICNIC HAMPERS

Most of the picnic baskets are framed around our variety of pates (including vegetarian and gluten free) with accompaniments to suit them, served with wood fired oven bread, at $16 a basket.

There are also daily specials, and a constant every day of a game terrine, wrapped in sour cream pastry, served with cabernet sauce and salad greens. And always desserts with fruits from our orchard.

We proudly use as much local produce as we can; Barossa Coffee Roasters for our coffee, local Scullery Made teas, Kernichs of Greenock un-homogenised Jersey milk, along with our own wines and cider.

Because of the relaxed and informal nature of the Farm Shop, no bookings are required for individual visitors.

We try to accommodate every person that comes, however if you are travelling with 8 or 10 friends we will do our very best to pull tables together for you but the earlier or later you come the easier it will be. The busiest time of day is between 12.30 and 2.30 p.m. We want every person that visits to have a really good country experience.
