If you are looking for an apartment with a heady night-life and posh eateries, please look somewhere else. If you are looking for a relaxed, secluded and comfortable place to stay where the only thing to disturb you will be the magpies warbling in the morning - read on.
Hallelujah Hideaway is a restored 1930s vintage homestead which provides all modern conveniences with an "olden days" flavour. You don't have to cook on a wood stove, you can use the electric oven, a mini oven, BBQ or microwave. Then eat in front of the combustion heater (if its cold) or on the front verandah (if its not) or in the air-conditioned lounge/dining room if its too hot outside. If you prefer you can eat in or takeaway from the Robertstown or Point Pass pubs or dine in nearby Burra.
Hallelujah Hideaway is named from the magnificent view of the Hallelujah Hills seen from the front verandah. When you explore the Hallelujah Hills Rd through from Black Springs Rd to the Worlds End Highway you may see lizards, galahs, crows, eagles, hawks during the day, wombats, rabbits and euros in the darker hours, sheep any time and, if you are lucky, you may spot the herd of feral deer that roam the hills.?
?Hallelujah Hideaway is an ideal staging point to visit many of the local attractions, such as historic Burra, The World's End Creek Gorge, Redbanks, the location of Russell Crowe's "Water Diviner" and much more. There are details at the Hideaway or we can help you plan your stay.
Tarrif includes ingredients for cooked/continental breakfast for the first night, complementary bottle of wine and chocolates. Linen can be provided at a small additional charge. It sleeps six in two queen and two single beds, has two toilets and two showers, is reverse cycle air-conditioned, had a combustion heater and a space for a camp fire (not during fire season).
