City of Onkaparinga
The City of Onkaparinga is the largest metropolitan council in South Australia. We provide many programs and servicesto our communities through our community centres, libraries, visitor information centre and arts centre. We play host toa range of music, food and wine and international sporting events, attracting thousands of visitors to our stunning city.
One of Australia's best food and wine districts, the City of Onkaparinga is a picturesque region bordered by hills, coastline and vineyards.
It is Kaurna country, rich in Aboriginal history, featuring beaches, parks, trails, reserves and wetlands. The area has a strong culture of art, events and festivals. Much of the heritage has been preserved with examples in the townships of Clarendon, Old Reynella, Coromandel Valley, Port Noarlunga, Kangarilla, Old Noarlunga, McLaren Vale & Willunga.
