Willunga Courthouse and Slate Museum
The Willunga Courthouse Museum is a 19th century court. Its cells, stables and residence have been preserved and display significant items showcasing the work of the magistrates and police officers who worked there. A walking trail through native woodland leads to paddocks where the police horses were kept. The Slate Museum chronicles slate mining in Willunga, its uses and how it became one of SA's greatest exports. Both museums are open 1-4pm on Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
